- Open Google Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
- Access the Extensions Menu: Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the browser to open the Chrome menu. Then, hover over the "Extensions" option, and click on "Manage Extensions".
Note: Alternatively, you can type chrome://extensions into the address bar and press Enter to directly navigate to the extensions page.
- Enable Developer Mode: In the top right corner of the Extensions page, you'll find a toggle switch for "Developer mode". Turn this on.
- Update the Extension: Now that Developer Mode is enabled, you'll see additional options at the top of the page. Click on the "Update" button. This will force Chrome to check for updates and install them immediately.
Note: If the "Update" button is not appearing, try refreshing the page. If it still doesn't appear, that means all your extensions are up to date.
- Find Your Extension: Look for "Staffing Engine AI Assistant" in your list of extensions. If it's been updated, you should see the new version number listed under the extension name.
- Disable Developer Mode: Once you've updated all your extensions, it's a good idea to turn off Developer Mode for security reasons. To do this, simply go back to the top right of the Extensions page and toggle the "Developer mode" switch off.
